César’s Family Home Care will be located at 43 Evelake Drive, Asheville, North Carolina 28806-2033, ten minutes away from downtown Asheville and two blocks away from a bus stop; nevertheless, it will be located in a quiet residential area. Asheville has been called the "happiest city in America!” and is a gorgeous town located in the heart of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. Friendly people make Asheville and its surroundings one-of-a-kind. Asheville's weather resembles the weather of the rest of the southeastern US, but with somewhat cooler temperatures due to the higher altitude.
César’s Family Home Care will have the capacity to provide residential services for six residents. César’s Family Home Care will assist elderly and the physically disabled adults with the activities of daily living. When residents may be unable to attend to themselves, their needs will be met, including bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility, feeding and grooming, among other needs.
This brand-new facility shall be designed to fulfill the needs of the elderly and physically disabled. It will be built to fit the needs of these residents, and shall place a strong emphasis on residents’ rights, privacy and a home-like environment for each resident. It will fulfill the basic physical, social and spiritual needs of this population within the resources available for each resident in our economic system.
The goal is to provide family care services to the elderly, physically disabled persons and their families through a community/family-based system of opportunities, benefits, and protection in their new demanding life style. César’s Family Home Care service is a system designed to promote independence and enhance the dignity of the residents and provide individuals and families with meaningful choices of support in a residential setting. The residential settings will meet an excellent level of quality and cost-effectiveness consistent with the individual’s values and preferences.
César’s Family Home Care is expected to open in November 2008 . It will stay open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A waiting list has been developed to ensure that the facility will be operating at full capacity. To be placed on this waiting list, basic requirements and information will be needed such as demographic information and how to get in contact with potential residents. A deposit fee will not be required to be placed on this waiting list. However, based on the list information, residency will be on a first-come, first-served basis after the appropriate screening.
